From his early association with Luis Buñuel as a pioneer of avant-garde cinema, to his fascination, friendships, and collaborations with Hollywood luminaries such as Walt Disney, Cecil B DeMille, the Marx Brothers and Alfred Hitchcock, Catalan-born Salvador Dalí (1904–89) had a lifelong fascination with the cinema. In conjunction with the Dalí & Film exhibition, this series celebrates Dalí’s passion for film by presenting both his own infamous work and many rare treasures that provide insight into his passions and influences.
