Por La Libre (Dust to Dust)

Wednesday 5 October 2005, 19.00

Juan Carlos de Llaca, Mexico 2000, 96’, subs

This hilarious road movie throws together two cousins, Rodrigo and Rocco, who abhor each other. Following their grandfather’s death on his birthday and his party descending into greedy bickering over his possessions, the cousins head to Acapulco to scatter his ashes in the ocean. Along the way a bond develops that neither of them thought possible, and they make a discovery, which their grandfather had been keeping secret all his life.
