Pupils from Snowsfields Primary
School have built on discussions and activities that had previously
taken place to consider how materials can be used to tell stories.
Working in pairs or in small groups of three, each group decided
what kind of materials they wanted to use and why. They then
considered their choices and how they could best use the media
of animation to tell their
stories before the actual work of photographing and sequencing
the images began.
The result is six very
different animations that show how the pupils have drawn
on their understanding of materials qualities
and everyday uses.
