Ewa Partum
Visual Poetry

Saturday 25 November 2006, 16.30–17.00

This live performance is choreographed by the eminent Polish conceptual and feminist artist Ewa Partum. Her use of words and letters in these performance pieces was characterised by the literary critic Marek Lawrynowicz as ‘visual’ rather than ‘concrete’ poetry.

Partum’s 1973 film of the same work is included in the Image/Text film programme.
