Theatrical self-portraits have defined the work of Samuel Fosso, which became widely spread as the promotional image of the Africa Remix exhibition in 2005. Renowned for his elaborate constructed photographic sets and whimsical enactments ranging from narcissistic to super camp, Fosso will discuss his photographic practice in the context of his participation in Street and Studio: An Urban History of Photography.
