Miroslaw Balka is the tenth artist to create a work for The Unilever Series. Known for installations drawing on his Catholic upbringing and the fractured history of his native Poland, he often uses non-traditional materials like maggots, soap and salt. Balka talks to art critic and historian Paulo Herkenhoff about his intriguing new work in the Turbine Hall.
