This series of discussions explores the development of visual effects and computer animation over the last twenty years and considers their future potential. Working at the cutting edge of technology, many digital artists are nevertheless using techniques that date back to the Renaissance, such as the use of anatomy to inform sculpture. The speakers consider how the new forms of expression developed in the digital revolution have been influenced by traditional art practices.
