Taking place after hours in the Henri Rousseau: Jungles in Paris exhibition, this talk is the first of two special opportunities to get insights into and discuss the work of this complex and fascinating artist. Each of the talks is given by one of the curators of the exhibition; the first is by Christopher Green, Professor at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London and one of the world’s leading specialists in early twentieth-century French art.
