This is the full-length version of one episode of The Present, the work showing in the adjoining space. It charts a woman's deteriorating grip on reality as she falls prey to psychosis. A violent wind enters the room, leading the woman to turn her apartment upside-down, moving furniture and destroying objects.

In telling her story, she confides that she compulsively bites her hands to the bone to restrain her anger, and, in a moment of lucidity, confesses that she had once hoped she might become a psychiatrist, never considering that she would end up seeing one.

The three-screen projection echoes the process of mental breakdown, offering simultaneous perspectives of the same place and time. The disjunction in the narrative, as dialogue is repeated and the sequence of events becomes confused, parallels the woman's breakdown of logic.
