Weather stories He awoke early one morning... surrounded by the disembodied heads of cows

A friend who lived near Glastonbury told me about his tendency to somnambulism (sleepwalking). He awoke early one morning to find himself standing on wet grass, surrounded by the disembodied heads of a herd of Fresian cows. As consciousness eventually kicked in he realised that he had sleepwalked out of his house and into a nearby field. As often happens on the Somerset Levels, there was a thick, low-lying mist... with only the heads of the cows visible above the mist.
