Weather stories People chased it across the field and over the campsite

We were walking past the Other Stage at Glastonbury Festival on Saturday afternoon. It was really hot that afternoon, and there was a cloud of dust above the moshing crowd. Then we saw this column of dust rising from the people and sweeping away from the stage. People chased it across the field and over the campsite. The baby tornado lifted all the crap off the field and flung it right up about 30 or 40 metres into the sky where it kind of hung. Above the debris, the seagulls circled in the rising hot air. It was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen at Glastonbury - I got some photos, but even they don't capture how it felt.
