Weather stories

Working in a large engineering company in Dundee we have frequent customer visits from all around the world. I was hosting a group of very important Chinese visitors, showing them around the factory. It was all very serious and earnest. However, during the time we had been inside there had been a major snow storm and I noticed they were becoming increasingly distracted.

Their translator explained that no one from the group had ever seen snow before - so I took them outside and showed them how to make snowballs. Protocol and different languages all went by the way as these senior execs played in the snow. We then went back into the factory and resumed the meeting as if nothing had happened - truly surreal!
