Weather stories The fuses for the cameras and lights blew and everyone stood there open mouthed

During a BBC filming session for 'All the right moves' on how to sell your property, a bizarre incident happened that even shocked the unflappable Quentin Wilson.

The theme of the BBC2 programme was using alternative methods to sell your home - I was brought in as the Space Clearer, using crystal singing bowls to balance the energies and re-harmonize the house. The presenters were Quentin Wilson and Anna Ryder Richardson, and Quentin was slightly sceptical to say the least. However, things got very interesting when the 'mother' bowl - the biggest at 24 inches - was played. Suddenly we heard a loud crack and a bolt of lightning shot down the chimney and across the lounge, narrowly missing the sound man. The fuses for the cameras and lights blew and everyone stood there open mouthed.

Now they were really were spooked! Quentin asked if I had done that and I explained that energy attracts energy so if a lightning strike was heading to ground, it could perhaps have been drawn to the vibrational pull of the crystal sound (you have to hear the bowls to believe them).

I don't know if they sold the house but it certainly left an impression!
