Unilever's sponsorship Olafur Eliasson’s thought-provoking work is the fourth commission in The Unilever Series at Tate Modern. Eliasson’s exploration of our relationship with natural phenomena and the elements is both inspiring and humbling. He has created a stunning climatic landscape which responds magnificently to the scale and drama of the Turbine Hall. The Unilever Series enables leading artists to unleash their creativity in one of the world’s most exciting gallery spaces. It is a sponsorship which reflects the commitment to creativity which lies at the heart of Unilever’s business, helping us to meet the needs of consumers around the world. We share Eliasson’s interest in our natural environment and apply our creativity in equal measure to sustainability initiatives and partnerships which will help to protect it for future generations. The works by Louise Bourgeois, Juan Muñoz and Anish Kapoor for The Unilever Series have given visitors to Tate Modern a series of unforgettable experiences. Now Olafur Eliasson’s pioneering work adds yet another. We hope visitors will share our sense of wonder at its mystery and grace. Niall FitzGerald KBE
