Our sponsorship underlines our commitment to photographic art. In 2000 Deutsche Börse Group started its own collection of predominantly large-scale contemporary photography. The collection has grown along with the company and now comprises over 500 works; its creativity, transparency and innovation reflect our corporate culture.

From the perspective of a global citizen, Swiss-born Robert Frank has photographed in many parts of Europe and the Americas, in particular the United States. Robert Frank's innovative and creative use of the medium of photography led him eventually into the creation of moving images. Challenging rules and conventions in his art and in his life, Robert Frank is a pioneer for an entire generation of photographers and filmmakers.
