This large diagonal oval form fills the paper but is also something of a veiled image. It is made up of layers of semi-transparent wash and the process of applying layer after layer of ink onto the paper builds up the lines to reveal several different opacities and densities.

Ian McKeever has used the translucent qualities of ink and paper to produce an image of a wide oval form linked to the edges of the paper by more brush strokes.
