Henri Rousseau: Jungles in Paris, 3 November 2005 - 5 February 2006

Rousseau moved to a studio in Montparnasse in 1893, and lived and worked in this lively district of Paris until his death in 1910. In his day, Montparnasse was a centre for artistic activity, frequented by various avant-garde artists, poets, writers and musicians who were important to Rousseau’s life, career and artistic legacy.
