Transforming Tate Modern

Explore a 360-degree view of the oil tanks

These massive underground chambers at Tate Modern have lain unused since the power station was decomissioned. They once housed the oil tanks that ran the turbines and will be incorporated into Tate’s new annexe, becoming performance spaces and an auditorium.

Navigate the interactive using your mouse. After entering the space you can explore each of the three chambers. To view fullscreen, select this mode from the controls. Use the hotspots to view the space from five different perspectives.
