This site presents the proposals for a new extension to Tate Modern.
This is an opportunity for you to see how the project is developing
and how Tate is responding to local people's views.
The site explains why Tate Modern needs to expand and
the benefits of the proposed new activities and facilities. The designs were submitted for planning approval in Autumn 2006, and planning permission has now been approved by Southwark Council.
The project will now enter its delivery phase and a project team will be appointed.
