Online Event Duration: 2 hours Anish Kapoor is renowned for his "non-objective objects", whose visceral colours and materials produce complex relationships between form, space and perception. Marsyas, his dramatic sculpture for the Turbine Hall, is the third in The Unilever Series of commissions at Tate Modern. It is stretched across the full dimensions of the hall, where its single span of deep red PVC membrane extends and flares around the three large steel rings that determine its spectacular contours. Impossible to take in as a whole, the work is experienced as a series of encounters that provoke viewers to reevaluate their relationship to time and space.Venue: Tate Modern
