BP Artist Talk: Jane and Louise Wilson

Date:  25 October 2006
Venue:  Tate Britain

Jane and Louise Wilson discuss their recent work and artistic practice. The Wilsons are known for their multi-screen installations which illustrate their continued preoccupation and engagement with modernist architecture. Their work explores abandoned and brutalist spaces as well as the social aspect of dystopia. From colonialism to mental health, they consistently produce visually arresting, often beautiful images and narratives which grapple with challenging subject matter.
