British Art Talks : Fantasy: Brian Griffiths, Chad McCail and Saskia Olde Wolbers

Invented worlds are omnipresent in contemporary art. This event brings together practitioners who conceive new worlds that reside between abstraction and representation. Brian Griffiths creates magical, sculptural Utopias. Chad McCail imagines brightly coloured worlds, free of sexual repression and totalitarian obedience. Saskia Olde Wolbers makes fantastical and carefully hand-constructed videos that employ the techniques of reportage. The three artists come together to explore the themes of virtual reality and the unconscious, as well as analytic and poetic approaches to visual information.
