Keynote speaker Bruno Latour will conclude this series. Latour is Professor of Sociology at the Ecole de Mines in Paris and is one of the most widely
read contemporary philosophers. Best known for his work on science, the culture of science and its connections to religion,
art and sociology, his publications include We Have Never Been Modern and Politics of Nature: How to Bring the Sciences into
Democracy (forthcoming in English in 2004), which concerns the political philosophy of the environment. He is co-curator of
Making Things Public (2004) at ZKM in Karlsruhe. Latour will be joined by Olafur Eliasson, Doreen Massey and Dominic Willsdon.
This talk is part of a discussion series consisting of three sessions on the relationships between society, space and nature,
and how they are currently being transformed both theoretically and by technological and environmental changes in the world.
