Curates Freeze, Goldsmiths College exhibition held in a warehouse in Surrey Docks, East London.

1989

New Contemporaries group exhibition, ICA, London.

1990

Group exhibition Modern Medicine, Building One, London.
Group exhibition Gambler, Building One, London.

1991

First solo exhibition - In and Out of Love, Woodstock Street Gallery, London.
Internal Affairs solo exhibition, ICA, London.
When Logics Die, Emmanuel Perrotin Gallery, London.

1992

First installation of Pharmacy solo exhibition, Cohen Gallery, New Yrok.
Young British Artists group exhibition, Saatchi Gallery, London, who commission The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living, a shark in a tank of formaldehyde.
Where's God Now, Jay and Donatella Chiat, New York.

1993

Solo exhibition, Visual Candy, Regen Projects, Los Angeles
Solo exhibition, Damien Hirst, Galeria Jablonka, Cologne.
Mother and Child, Divided, a bisected cow and calf, exhibited at Venice Biennale.

1994

Creates Away from the Flock.
Solo exhibition, second installation of Pharmacy, Dallas Museum, Texas.
Some Went Mad, Some Ran Away group exhibition curated by Damien Hirst, Serpentine Gallery, London including Hirst's Mother and Child, Divided and Away from the flock.
A Good Environment for Colored Monochrome Paintings solo exhibition, DAAD Gallery, Berlin.
A Bad Envrionment for White Monochrome Paintings solo exhibition, Mattress Factory, Pittsburgh.

Wins Turner Prize for
Third installation of Pharmacy, Kukje Gallery, Seoul , South Korea.
Still solo exhibition, Jay Jopling/White Cube, London.

1996

No Sense of Absolute Corruption solo exhibition, Gagosian Gallery, New York.
First short film Hanging Around shown in London.

1997

Sensation Group exhibition, Royal Academy of Arts, London.

1998

Pharmacy, the restaurant, opens in Notting Hill.
God, a cabinet of pharmaceutical products is sold at Christies.
Publishes autobiography - I Want To Spend the Rest of My Life Everywhere, with Everyone, One to One, Always, Forever, Now.

1999

Fourth installation of Pharmacy, Tate Gallery, London

2000

Theories, Models, Methods, Approaches, Assumptions, Results and Findings solo exhibition, Gagosian Gallery, New York.
Creates Ways of Seeing, a vitrine sculpture with a figure of a laboratory technician seated at a desk.
