Tate Library holds almost 2,000 journal titles, of which around 250 are current subscriptions. Our list includes:
- current art magazines such as Art Monthly
- artists’ serials including Liver & Lights, Real Art and Project Folder
- historic magazines such as The Germ, Blast and The Yellow Book.
Access journals
Journals are available for consultation at the Hyman Kreitman Reading Rooms at Tate Britain.
- Search for current titles, and titles acquired since the early 1990s, on the Library catalogue
- Some journal titles are also available electronically through the library catalogue
- Older titles may only be recorded, with brief holdings information, on the separate journals list [PDF, 242 KB]
