Find an exact phrase

To find an exact phrase, enclose it in double quotes. E.g. "Francis Bacon"

Exclude certain words

Use the minus (-) symbol to exclude words from the search. E.g. kitchen -sink

This can be useful to narrow your search if many pages of results are returned. The example returns pages that contain the word 'kitchen' but not the word 'sink'.

Find at least one of the words

Use OR to find one pages that contain one or both of the given words.

E.g. Francis OR Nathaniel Bacon

The example returns pages that contain 'Francis' and 'Bacon' and pages that contain 'Nathaniel' and 'Bacon'.
