Tate St Ives is undertaking a new and pioneering informal adult education project across Cornwall.

Based on the idea of a book group, the 'Look Groups' project will establish a network of 22 groups throughout the Cornish region who meet regularly to discuss art, artists and ideas in an informal and enjoyable way. Supported by the Learning Team at Tate St Ives, the groups will enjoy access to the Tate collection, the exhibition programme at Tate St Ives and exclusive events designed to stimulate discussion and conversations about art.

Look Groups are FREE to join (even the tea and cake!) and will meet in the members' local area. The first meetings will be held during the weeks of the 7 and 14 December 2009.

3 Reasons to Join a Look Group.

  1. You get to tell people what you really think about art.
  2. It's FREE
  3. Tea and cake.
(Oh, And you might be stimulated by some new ideas!)

To register interest and find out about a Look Group near you email carey.harvey@tate.org.uk or call 01736 791114.
