Transforming Tate Modern Sponsorship
There is an urgent need for more space. Tate Modern was designed for 1.8 million visitors. In its opening year it got 5 million and has now settled to a steady 4 million a year.
As such, Tate Modern needs to extend and the new development which is planned to open in 2012 will create the world’s first museum dispensed to show the full breadth of contemporary arts in the twenty-first century.
