Issue 13

Giving artists a platform to speak about their work is pretty much the raison d’être for TateShots.  This month is particularly rich, featuring an interview with godfather of the ‘YBAs’ Michael Craig-Martin, a studio tour with painter Fiona Rae, and a conversation with art-provocateur Santiago Sierra. We also have interviews with Bob and Roberta Smith and Dorothy Cross who talk about their works in the Tate Collection.  And by way of an antidote, we have some great music (and just a bit of art talk) from the band New Young Pony Club. Please send us your feedback to the usual address: tateshots@tate.org.uk.
