Changes to the Tate Britain Restaurant and Café until autumn 2013

You may have noticed that Tate Britain is changing. We are in the middle of an exciting restoration and expansion project which will transform, remodel and renovate our visitor areas. This includes expanding the dining facilities, offering a wider choice of food and drink, and conserving the beautiful Rex Whistler mural.

Café

From 29 April 2012, the Café will be relocating to a new space at the end of the upper level of the Duveens galleries so that we can carry out improvements to our existing facilities. From here we will continue to serve a wide range of freshly baked pastries, high quality sandwiches, salads and hot and cold drinks.

The Members Room will be open as usual.

Restaurant

While the Rex Whistler restaurant is closed for refurbishment, try the Millbank Café and Bar, serving an ever-changing range of hot and cold seasonal dishes that demonstrates the best of British produce.

We look forward to welcoming you back to the new facilities when they re-open in October 2013 and we will do our very best to accommodate you until then.
