Our menus change seasonally, ingredients are locally sourced and all dishes are made fresh from scratch on the premises. We pride ourselves on working with some of the finest producers in the North West so that we offer the best cheese, meat, fish and vegetables possible.

Families
The Café welcomes families and provides high chairs on request. As well as a child-friendly menu, we also offer younger visitors an activity sheet and crayons. Visiting tips for families
Kids eat for free at Tate
Kids can eat for free in the Café when an accompanying adult buys a main course from our seasonal menu.*
*Valid for children aged 12 or under, for one child eating with one accompanying adult. Only available during weekends and half terms.
Childrens menu
The childrens menu includes tasty dishes such as pasta with meatballs in a tomato sauce, spinach and feta pattie with butterbean and chickpea stew, fish goujons with cucumber sticks and chips, a home-made chocolate brownie, raisins or a fruit salad and a drink – all for £4.70. Subject to availability. Only available during weekends and half terms.
Art installation
The Café at Tate Liverpool is home to a bright and bold work of art specially created by artist Tobias Rehberger, Get a New Liver. The artist has created a commission which combines vibrant coloured acrylic glass garlands branching out of the ceiling with a prominent wall installation.
