Step into a spotlight and activate stories of live art

In Bloomberg Connects: Explore Performance the room is ‘aware’ of your presence through a network of sensors. You can use your body to trigger multi-screen films in which artists and curators illuminate key themes including choreography, moving image and the body. New films and archival footage show the many different ways artists have brought action and participation into how we experience art. These ideas are mirrored by the interactivity in this space, using technology designed by Oscar-winning visual effects studio Framestore.

Explore Performance is part of Bloomberg Connects: interactive digital projects that connect you to art and artists. Visit the Timeline of Modern Art, the Drawing Bar and Explore Artists’ Cities, watch TateShots films or download Tate’s app for iPhone.
