Gallery closures

Tate St Ives Temporary Closure: 27 January – 16 May 2014

From Autumn 2013, Tate St Ives begins a major three-year expansion programme – Tate St Ives Phase 2 – which will see the gallery space double, new learning spaces and improved visitor facilities. Phase 2 is scheduled for completion in 2016. However, due to initial building works, Tate St Ives will close from 27 January to 16 May 2014. The Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden remains open during this time, and will also open on Mondays throughout the closure period.

Tate St Ives Phase 2 project: work in progress

The initial phase of excavation work for the Tate St Ives Phase 2 is now underway. The work is expected to take between 9 and 11 weeks. Whilst everything will be done to minimise the impact of the works, it will be noisy. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
