Join us for a fantastic opportunity to explore the archives of Ian Breakwell./p>
Ian Breakwell worked in a diverse range of media ranging from painting to film, sound, photography, performance, and writing. He was also a keen diarist and it was his diary, which he kept for over 40 years that influenced so much of his work. A wonderful example of this, The Walking Man Diary, is in Tate’s collection.
On display in the Manton Studio will be a fascinating selection of items from the archives, including correspondence, project files relating to Ian Breakwell’s works, photographs, and notebooks kept by the artist.
