Get down to Tate Britain for a free action-packed day of art, music and fashion. BP Saturdays: Loud Tate explores the idea of contrast between the past and present, inspired by the new chronological display at Tate Britain.

Live performance includes hard-hitting house and classical strings from Clean Bandit, one of the UK’s most exciting young female rappers Amplify Dot and modern brass, techno and hip hop from Hackney Colliery Band.

Drop in and take part in a series of interactive workshops with exciting up and coming artists, from badge making to eccentric coding with Codasign, sculptural ‘blinging’ with Lauren Baker to fashion styling.

Stylistix perform a series of random freestyling encounters and offer tutorials, plus Reprezent DJs spin the best UK bass, Afrobeats, future R’n’B and deep house tunes and Quartet Elastique present a surprising sonic landscape.

Want to see your work in this event too? Tate Collectives create a moving image mash-up installation. Find out how you can take part.
