Henry Moore lived at Perry Green in Hertfordshire for over 40 years. Visitors are welcome to tour his former estate, which reopens 3 April 2012 to visitors.
The estate includes Hoglands (Henry and Irina Moore’s home and garden), Moore’s studios and around 70 acres of informal gardens and fields with many of the artist’s larger sculptures on display. There are two more exhibition spaces, the Sheep Field Barn gallery and the Aisled Barn. During the 2010 season both will be used to display graphic work for the major exhibition Henry Moore deluxe: books, prints & portfolios. Also located at Perry Green is The Henry Moore Foundation’s collection of Moore’s work, which is used for exhibitions worldwide, and a Henry Moore library and archive.
