Liminal: summer series for families

Liminal invites families to take part in a physical, material and social experience of sculpture through improvisation and collaboration.

Join us this summer at Tate Britain for a special series of family workshops around Liminal, led by its creators, artists Abigail Hunt and Kieren Reed.

Fun family activities include stop-frame animation, artist-led drawing and the rare chance to see screenings of artist films and films from the Tate Archive.

All events are free of charge. Please browse the summer series and book your places today.

Throughout the summer school holiday, Liminal performances and participatory sessions will be popping up around Tate Britain. Keep your eyes peeled – you may encounter Liminal in the most unexpected way this summer, if you are lucky.

Liminal regular drop-in sessions are open from Thursday to Sunday throughout the school holiday (25 July – 1 September).
