Blue Sea by Laurence Payot for Blueprint Festival Parade 2014
Blue Sea by Laurence Payot for Blueprint Festival Parade 2014

Join us on Saturday 5 July and help us to make some Living Sculptures which will take to the streets in our Blueprint Festival Parade on Saturday 19 July.

The parade will be one of the highlights of the Blueprint Festival, a festival for young people by young people led by Tate Collective Liverpool.

Working alongside artist Laurence Payot and taking inspiration from DLA Piper Series: Constellations, the Tate permanent collection of artworks, a number of groups have already designed some Living Sculptures which will turn people into blue artworks wondering about the busy city centre, and showcase Liverpool Young People’s talent and energy. But we want more sculptures and more people! If you are a young creative aged 15-25 who is interested then join us on 5 July to create more sculptures to take part in the parade.

Come along to Tate Liverpool or contact us at jointheparade2014@gmail.com, cathriona.bourke@tate.org.uk or may.chong@tate.org.uk to find out how you can get involved.

See our amuse-bouche videos to get a taste of the action and what it takes to be a Living Sculpture.
