We are very pleased and excited to introduce you to Compass, Tate Liverpools brand new quarterly publication. Featuring articles exploring each seasons new exhibitions across each floor of the gallery the curatorial team, among others, provide direct insights and links into the themes and specific works running through the gallery.

This first edition of Compass: Cultural Vocabularies, features new writing on the fourth floor exhibition Keywords: Art, Culture and Society in 1980s Britain, and Richard Hawkins: Hijikata Twist in the Wolfson Gallery as well as the relationship between art and text found in the Tate collection.
