If you’re 15–25 and interested in art, fashion, music join us this Saturday for Glam! 21st Century Factory – The Prequel a special event inspired by our new exhibition Glam! The Performance of Style.

Take a guided tour of the exhibition with members of Tate Collective for a modern take on Glam!  Enjoy performances along the way in the gallery by Tate Collective and visual artist Nicola Smith.

Enhance your inner glam and create a ‘Glam persona’ (we can help!) and take part in our screen test  21 Seconds of Fame.  Inspired by Andy Warhol’s screen tests in the exhibition, your 21 Seconds of Fame will be shown in Camp and Furnace during our next event Glam! 21st Century Factory in April.  If you like your screen test you can sign up for a professional photo shoot with fashion photographer Willie Runte (also this Saturday).

Finally, meet the members of Tate Collective for a cuppa or a juice perhaps you have some questions for the team or maybe you’d like to join them!

Glam! 21st Century Factory – The Prequel is produced by Tate Collective in collaboration with a number of artists. Tate Collective is a group of young people who advise Tate Liverpool on its programmes for young audiences and produce art projects and events for the public. Participation is open to anyone aged 15–25.

Tickets for this event include entry to the exhibition Glam! The Performance of Style.

Please note, places for the photo shoot will be limited and people wishing to take part must sign up specifically for this on arrival at Tate Liverpool on the day.
