LightNight 2018: The Cockatrice

Be entertained by this interactive puppetry performance

Welcome to Headstrung’s latest expedition into the forgotten corners of the animal kingdom.

This interactive puppetry performance follows on from our previous show "The Cryptid Petting Zoo". The Cockatrice is a creature of transformation, created when a chicken’s egg is hatched beneath a toad. Here we explain the truth behind the legend.

This show is for a small audience; allowing an intimate experience and one to one interaction with both puppet and performers. Besides, we can’t let too many people know the secret – or everyone will want one.

Suitable for brave children and curious adults only. You have been warned.
