During the summer environment artist Kerry Morrison has produced a series of public art projects as part of Our Liverpool Landscape: From Turner to Today in three of Liverpool’s parks to generate shared experiences relating to place and nature.

This showcase displays work created by local communities in response to these public art projects, which are in turn inspired by Tate Liverpool’s summer exhibition Turner Monet Twombly: Later Paintings. Work on display includes photographs, artworks, poetry and prose.

Artwork exhibited from Our Liverpool Landscape’s many summer activities includes a documented river journey, the artist-led cycle sketching tour through the parks and paintings of stunning Liverpool sunsets. There will also be paintings inspired by local landscapes and the works of Turner, Monet and Twombly.

Prize winners from Liverpool City Council’s Photography Competition are also on display, alongside Go With The Flow’s three-dimensional self contained floating worlds.

This event is related to the exhibition Turner Monet Twombly: Later Paintings
