Autumn school, Tate Modern
Autumn school, Tate Modern

I didn’t know what to expect but I do feel more motivated to create my own work and I have new ideas to guide students.
 Autumn School participant 2011

Developed and led by artist  Marysa Dowling, Autumn School offers a unique opportunity for you, as a teacher, to put yourself first, by providing space to re-engage and develop your individual creative practice.

Transform your practice, both in and beyond your classroom, by spending three days working with artists to experiment with forms of presentation and active participation; looking, discussing, questioning, sharing, doing and making.

Autumn School involves engaging with artwork in the Tate collection and access to the exhibitions. You will explore how this wide range of artwork can be used as a way of informing and progressing ideas and create a thought-provoking exchange between a diverse range of participants and facilitators.
