To coincide with Meschac Gaba: Museum of Contemporary African Art at Tate Modern, there are five public dinners designed, prepared and hosted by guest artists in Gaba’s Museum Restaurant. You are invited to fully immerse yourself in the installation, enjoy a hearty meal and engage with your hosts who will each offer a distinct approach informed by their own biographies and artistic practices.
Each dinner consists of at least three courses with a vegetarian option available. Please make your vegetarian selection on booking. The artist’s personal choices for the menu resonate with a family culinary tradition, their own cultural heritage or an invitation to experiment and try something new for this occasion.
