When do the doors open?
Tate Modern will open at 19.00 (21.00 on Friday 8 and Saturday 9 February) for the concerts. Admission will be via the river entrance (north side of building) of Tate Modern.
How do I collect my wristband?
Entry will be via the Level 1 River Entrance only for those who have proof of purchase and wristbands to collect.
Wristbands will be available from when the doors open in the evening. Everyone in your party must be present at time of collection to be issued with a wristband and 3D glasses. Failure to wear the issued wristband will result in refused entry or ejection from the venue.
Wristband and ticket collection will only be possible with the payment card used to purchase the tickets, and a copy of this or the original email confirmation. Tate reserves the right to refuse entry if this is not adhered to. The wristband must be worn during the concert.
There will be no re-admittance if you leave the venue from the time you collect your wristband.
What time will the concerts finish?
The concerts are due to last approximately 2 hours each. Please click here for information about how to get to Tate Modern, and use Transport for Londons Journey Planner to help plan your journey to and from the venue.
Will there be return tickets available on the night?
Some returns will be available each night and these will go on sale from Tate Modern on the evening of the concert within two hours of the concert start time. The tickets will be sold in person only on a first come first served basis, and are limited to four per person. Tickets are £60 each. A dedicated queuing area is set up at the River Entrance to Tate Modern. All attendees must be present at the time of the transaction so that wristbands can be issued. Once wristbands are issued, if attendees leave the venue, there will be no readmittance.
What if I have bought tickets as a gift?
The payment card is still required to collect the tickets. If tickets have been bought for someone else, they will need to bring along the original payment card to collect the tickets. A copy of the card, or any other info from the purchaser will not be accepted. The name of who the ticket has been purchased for is also required. Please contact email@example.com if you have purchased tickets as a gift – no later than one week before the concert.
Can I get an exchange or refund for my tickets if I cant use them?
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.
What if I have access requirements?
Please call 44 (0)20 7887 8888 if you have access requirements. Tate also has a limited amount of wheelchairs which can be booked. All the concerts will be standing, although sitting on the floor will be permitted.
Can I visit Tate Modern before the concert?
Tate Modern will be open with regular Sunday to Thursday hours of 10.00 – 18.00. On Friday 8 and Saturday 9 February the gallery hours will be 10.00 – 20.00. If you are visiting during regular hours and are attending a concert you will be asked to leave whilst the gallery closes for 60 minutes.
Will there be a cloakroom?
There will be no cloakroom facility. No large bags or suitcases will be permitted into the venue.
Will it be possible to take photographs or film the event?
Filming and photography is not permitted.
Will Kraftwerk merchandise be on sale?
Yes, merchandise from the band will be available for sale inside the venue.
Will there be food and drink on sale?
A bar serving food and drink, and an outdoor smoking facility will be available. Food or drink (including any cans or glass) cannot be brought into the venue.
Is there an ATM on site?
There is not an ATM inside Tate Modern. The nearest ATM to Tate Modern is on New Globe Walk next to the Globe Theatre.
Is there an age restriction for ticket holders?
All ages are welcome. Everyone requires a ticket.
