Discover hypnotic choreography on the South Terrace

In Corbeaux (crows) the dark silhouettes of women emerge from the shadows, silently they come and then stop. Forming geometric alchemical arrangements, they move repeatedly accompanied by extraordinary piercing cries.

Bouchra Ouizguen (b.1980) is a Moroccan dancer and choreographer based in Marrakech. Corbeaux premiered at the Marrakech Art Biennial 2014. This performance is co-presented with Shubbak Festival 2017: A Window on Contemporary Arab Culture
