Tate Catering botanical Bar

Enjoy a limited edition specially produced Tate gin cocktail at the Botanical Bar!

Art practice Something & Son have created a unique bar with a specially created façade inspired by the stonework found in Baroque styles and Victorian architecture. Made using a combination of plaster casts and specially created 3D printed elements it will create an exciting still life scene. The bar will be an exploration of future techniques and technology that could be used to bring back ornate architectural façades to our buildings.

Tate Catering have teamed up with microdistillery Sacred to produce its very own series of specially blended gin. Producing just 250 bottles at a time, with a changing recipe each time it features up to 12 botanicals and has a distinct flavour from cardamom, angelica to liquorice. The end result is a delicately spiced, aromatic gin which is great in classic cocktails.

Enjoy listening to music programmed in the space as part of the Merge festival.
