In 2014, Tate St Ives will be 21. As we begin work on our exciting Phase 2 extension plans, we can look back over the past twenty-one years of success and look forward to a new Tate St Ives for the twenty-first century.
To celebrate, Tate St Ives is putting on numerous activities over the summer, including a long weekend of birthday events for all the family (from 20 – 23 June), late night opening during July and August and a special series of talks on the gallery’s history.
The café and shop at Tate St Ives are joining in the celebrations too: Enjoy a refreshing 21st birthday beer or cocktail in the café, and treat yourself to a birthday cupcake. In the shop, why not take home a memento of your visit with a 21st birthday mug, designed by a local artist and exclusive to Tate St Ives.
