Reflecting the location of Tate St Ives on Porthmeor Beach, this exhibition places a special emphasis on Katz’s seascapes and beach scenes painted in his own seaside retreat of Lincolnville, Maine, where he spends his summers.

This competition is organised by the Board of Trustees of the Tate Gallery (Tate).  Entrants must be aged 18 or over and be UK residents the competition ends at 18.00 on 23 September 2012. No purchase necessary to enter this free prize draw. This competition is not open to employees of Tate, the Maine Office of Tourism and Purely New England or anyone else connected with this promotion. The prize is a fourteen-night self-drive tour of Maine organised by Purely New England. The tour includes return flights for two people departing from London Heathrow, economy car rental, fourteen nights accommodation, all hotel taxes, a self drive tailor-made guidebook that includes hotel vouchers, driving directions, itinerary, maps and general information. Rooms provide private facilities and are based on the hotels standard or lead in room type. Blackout dates apply and the prize cannot be taken in July or August. Based on midweek departures Monday–Thursday only. The prize must be taken by 31 December 2013. Purely New England standard terms and conditions apply. There is no monetary value of this prize and it is non-changeable and non-transferable. No cash prizes will be offered in place of the prize. You acknowledge that your participation in the promotion, and on any travel you may undertake as a result of your participation, is purely at your own risk. For the avoidance of doubt, the prize does not include meals other than the breakfasts mentioned in the itinerary, overnight parking charges if applicable, travel insurance health insurance or any other travel and accommodation expenses.
