Participants in the Cornwall Workshop at Tate St Ives

The Cornwall Workshop took place in October 2011 with twelve artists/curators/writers selected through open application from the region  working with international artist Mark Dion and invited specialists. Led by independent Curator Teresa Gleadowe the aim of this pilot event was to address the specific needs of artists, curators and critics based in Cornwall and the South West to expand the region’s capacity in the visual arts by connecting to national and international networks and debates and the region’s connectedness and profile.

This event will include an in-depth reflection on the workshop outcomes from participants and organisations and an opportunity to respond and contribute to the discussion on how this model of working could be developed.
